The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad Board came into existence in 1990 as a result of the dissolution of the Peshawar Board under the northwest Frontier Province Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1990. The main objective of the Board is to conduct Matriculation (9th and 10th) and Intermediate (11th and 12th) class examinations in a pleasant environment. The Abbottabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education usually conducts Matriculation (9th and 10th) level examinations and Intermediate (11th and 12th) level examinations respectively in the months of March and April every year in which a large number of students participate. ۔ Year BISE Abbottabad usually announces the results of relevant examinations two to three months later.
