The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malakand conducts annual and supplementary examinations for matriculation and intermediate classes for regular students of the respective schools and colleges and for private students in the area including Malakand, Buner, Chitral, Lower Dir. Districts included. Upper Dir, and Shangla.
BISE Malakand issues roll number slips for ninth and tenth class written examinations in February while written examinations are held in March and April. The roll number slips of the matriculation supplementary examinations are issued after the announcement of the results of the matriculation examinations and the supplementary examinations are arranged a few days after the roll number slip is issued. Subsequently, the roll number slips of the Intermediate supplementary examinations are issued after the announcement of the results of the HSSC annual examinations. Roll number slips for SSC and HSSC examinations are also issued separately from the written examinations.
