Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) is an Army administered Private Medical College affiliated with the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Rawalpindi. NUMS will conduct the entry test and process admission in MBBS / BDS of all its constituent and affiliated Medical & Dental College through a centralized admission process.

Passing National MDCAT with 65% marks shall be mandatory for admission to the Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) as per PMC regulations.
SAT II Scores are being accepted for foreign students in lieu of MDCAT scores.
Obtained an HSSC / F.S.C (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent 12th Class qualification recognized in Pakistan having obtained more than sixty-five percent (65%) marks (aggregate of three science subjects i.e., Biology, Chemistry, and Physics / Mathematics) or a higher percentage as may be notified by the Medical and Dental Board.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for O level degree are that students must be passes in 8th class and if they do not pass in board examination then they must be known about the basic concepts of major subjects.
