University officials have decided to expand their academic and research activities and the Punjab government has provided generous funding for this purpose. The University of Okara is a public sector institution of higher education established under the Government of Punjab. UO currently has 5 faculties and about 4 4000 students are enrolled in various fields and academic session 2023.
